Linh Huynh, OT
I am a pediatric occupational therapist specialized in children and youths with autism, developmental disabilities, and mental health conditions. I completed my Masters of Occupational Therapy at the University of British Columbia, and have enjoyed working with individuals and families with autism through the Canucks Autism Network for 8 years prior to my professional degree. Since practicing as an occupational therapist, I have worked at Sunny Hill Health Center for Children, G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Center, and Child & Youth Mental Health services for Vancouver Coastal Health. Travelling inspires me and fosters growth in my professional development. Therefore, I have taken my occupational therapy practice aboard to Melbourne, Australia in 2015, and in 2019 to Brooklyn, New York đź—˝ as the primary occupational therapist for elementary and middle schools, working with students who have various learning disabilities. I am absolutely fascinated by the human brain and its process of epigenetics that impacts child development! Thus, I love staying current with the literature and teaching graduate students as a Clinical Instructor for the UBC Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy throughout the academic year.
