We all want the best for our kids. We hope for them to aspire and learn in school, to live independently when they grow up, and to love themselves and others with abundance of laughter and joy. Sometimes they just need a little extra support! 😊 My goal is to work with you and your child to develop functional skills and new ways to accomplish them in order to enable participation in daily activities that are meaningful, fun and essential.

My occupational therapy services are community and home based, meaning I will drive to your child's home, daycare, school, or community center. The trunk of my car carries all the evidence-based and therapeutic toys, materials and equipment that will spark your child's interest. It is essential that we involve your home therapy and school teams to develop functional goals to best support your child's growth and development - and I would be happy to facilitate this! Each session will involve functional assessments of your child's skillset and direct intervention activities that are purposeful and goal-oriented. My practice area will focus on the following activities of daily living skills (ADLS) to live, learn, and love:

Live. toileting, dressing, bathing, feeding, grooming, sleeping (self-care); meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, budgeting (home management); transit training, shopping (community integration)

Learn. printing, typing (fine motor); balance, movement (gross motor); academics, organization (cognitive-perception & executive function)

Love. play, volunteer, work, communication, emotional literacy, sensory processing, self-regulation, mindfulness (social-emotional)

It will be my pleasure to be that little extra support on your journey to empower your child.πŸ’—
